Pass Plus Driving Lessons
Pass Plus is a course of further tuition for the newly qualified driver. It consists of six modules; Town Driving, All Weather Driving, Out of Town Driving and Rural Roads, Night Driving, Dual Carriageways and Motorways. These modules are designed to broaden the experience of the novice driver.
All will be covered practically as far as is possible but if conditions don’t permit (not even we can make it snow!) some items will be covered theoretically.
It is designed to develop not only positive driving skills but also a positive driving attitude, attitude of course being a major factor in the safety of a novice driver.
The minimum requirement for each student to gain the DSA certificate of completion is six hours. This certificate can then be used with some insurance companies to reduce the cost of the first years of insurance, most commonly giving a reduction well in excess of the one hundred and thirty five pounds charge for the course.
There is no exam involved, the instructor has a report to fill out and submit to the DSA stating the student has achieved the desirable level of competence in each module. Again, most commonly, this is achieved in the six hours of tuition.
